30 Realization #1

It takes me longer to find clothes than it used to.  For two reasons: first, I'm trying to invest in good pieces.  I don't want to wear cheap clothes anymore.  I still shop at Target and Walmart, but it is for basics like tees and tanks.  But I'm trying to get mostly real leather and name brands known for quality.  I want to get classic pieces that will last a long time and go to future daughters.  The second is that I am very conscience of the style.  I think that shopping as a 30 year old is the most difficult.  You don't want look too young (my club days, thank God, are over) and you don't want to be a frumpy old lady either.  I'm not at Chico's and Coldwater Creek yet but I have to chose very, VERY wisely if I go into Forever 21 (which I shouldn't be because the clothes are cheap, but hey, old habits die hard).  I think that the LC Collection at Kohl's is pretty good for thirty-somethings.  I seem to do well with LC's styles... All in all, I'm enjoying this new hunt.  I have a good 10 things on my wish list that I hope to get for Christmas.  Hopefully, I will have chosen well.

Holla!

  1. Not all old ladies shop at Chico's or Coldwater
Creek. We can still be trendy and classic at the
same time. Mamacrab's glad to hear you're shopping wisely. Then you can use all that saved money and
something like a vacation! Happy shopping.
