Remember how excited I was about the Missoni collection for Target? Well, now I hate Target. The one piece that I was craving sold out online and in stores by noon. I left work on my break to go to Target and they had nothing left. I had to hurry and order a bunch of stuff online so I could get some pieces. But most of the pieces I wanted were sold out. I raced to a Target after work and the store was picked clean. There were just empty shelves. I'm convinced that one of two things happened.
1. Target employees took stuff home last night to sell on Ebay. (There was a bunch of stuff from the collection listed on Ebay by noon and for triple the price)
2. Target deliberately kept their stock low to force a frenzy.
Either way, I'm really disappointed with them. These capsule collections are supposed to be a way for everyone to enjoy labels that they normally wouldn't be able to get. What's the point if they only have 5 or 6 things in a store? I just hope that my shipment comes in next week and that I got all the right sizes, cuz Lord knows I won't be able to exchange them. And I guess I'm just going to have to decide if I want to spend $150 on a piece that regularly cost $40.
I repeat, I hate Target.

it was CRAZY here too!! Fights in the stores and their site crashed... they said it was a bigger day than black friday for them.
